Why is the red state Texas creating jobs and running a surplus?
Every blue state is a fiscal disaster but red states are prospering. Texas has created more jobs than every blue state combined and running a surplus. New York, and California are in huge holes. Why is this? Why do conservative leaders do so good compared to Democrats?

Trả lờiXóaTexas does not have a budget surplus, it has an excess oil and gas taxes in reserve (the "rainy day fund" Economic Stabilization Fund), which is not the same thing, because they aren't revenues coming in that exceed what expenditures are going to be.
John O’Brien, director of the Legislative Budget Board, which advises legislators on budget matters, recently estimated that the current pace of spending in Texas will exceed incoming revenue by $11 billion by the time the 2012 fiscal year begins on Sept. 1, 2011.
The 4 blue cities Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio make a lot of money. Especially San Antonio

If they got rid of the Federal government and its money they would be in the outhouse.

We've had Republicans in dominance or in the White House for many years now, and they sent the VA hospitals down south even as they closed them up North.
They have maintained military bases even as they closed them in the northern states.
Its handouts that keep Texas going.
How much stimulus money Texas got i wonder......there is a lot of hyperbole in your question i think you should provide some hard evidence if you want people to take you seriously.

Yep, Texas should sucede and back its currency by gold.
